Digg!

Its great to see that Palm has not changed anything about how they do business!  Foot in mouth  The trend for a while was to offer a Treo in different colors, but still no real innovation.  I guess they considered the fact that they could make the Treo even smaller and thinner was such an innovation that they couldn't call it it a Treo any longer so they called it a "Centro".  So what to do to innovate a Centro?  "Lets offer it in Pink", said those very creative guys at Palm!  Are those guys on the cutting edge anymore or what?

Happy New Year, Duke!

Well, with regards to a special limited edition color version of the same model, it's hardly surprising, coming from Palm since we have previously seen it at work with the blue edition for the Treo 650 (I believe it was available in Asia and I saw it but opted for the boring version for a cheaper price), the Black Tie 650 and of course, the colorful models for the Treo 680.

I'm wondering when the banana version will be out. I don't know about you, but looking at the vodafone Treo 500 in Asia, I still can't get used to the ugly form factor. But the ads and banners are prominent, especially in Singapore but not in Hong Kong since I guess it's not released there yet.

I am doubtful (at this time) that I will get another Palm branded smartphone as the upgrade to the Treo 750 and will likely lean towards the HTC in a year or two's time.
I am with you

Happy New Year to you May! My wife decided she wanted a Treo 680. She ordered a refurbed one and it arrived here DOA! We sent it back and have been waiting now for almost 3 weeks for the replacement! This is making me very upset! As far as myself, I am looking at the HTC TyTN II very hard! I am trying my best to hold out for the Linux Treo! I really am! But if I can't hold out, I am probably going to go with the new TyTN! GPS built in to the unit is something that really appeals to me and it looks like HTC has done it more right than anyone! I have done everything I can do on the net and would love to hold one and play with it! The fact that you have to open it to hard dial a number is probably the biggest negative with me. I don't know how much I can live with that! But once its opened, the drool starts dropping from my jaw! I hope you have been enjoying your trip to Hong Kong! BTW, I have relatives who just returned from a 7 year stay in Singapore, and I believe they are homesick! They loved it there!
