So when I upgraded to the 680, I had a Treo 650 that needed a new home. The wife had a Sony Erickson that was not working very good for her, so I offered her the 650. Well, she took it and fussed about it the whole time she had it. Its was too big, it was too complicated, it was more phone than she needed, it was too fancy. . . . . . . . After a few months, she lost the phone. We believe she left it on the roof of her car, while putting away groceries and drove off, the Treo ended up along side the road somewhere between Food City and our Driveway . . . We looked for it, but never found it . . . . . So she replaced it with a simple, straight forward Flip phone. After owning the flip for about a month, she confessed to me, that she really missed that Treo! That pleased me so much to hear that! So last night she is online looking at AT&T's offerings and happens to notice that they are offering a Crimson 680 refurbed for around $80.00. I point out that if she drops her insurance, her current text plan and signs up for unlimited mediamax, that she can have a data plan and only add $10.00 to our monthly bill and get full use out of her Treo! She did it! I am so excited! This is going to be so nice! Now, she can have mobile email, REAL text messaging, the ability to watch movies, listen to music and more . . . 
Also, what makes this a great move, is the fact, that I already have so many accessories for the Treo! Chargers, cases, and software. Now, I can send her emails with videos and pictures that actually mean something. She can video and send to my youtube account. Heck, maybe now, she will want her own account! She can send to my picture blog! She can text to her twitter account! She can grab the latest weather forcasts. I am so excited, you would think I got a new device!
