Once upon a time, I met a girl! Her name was Treo. She was the answer to my dreams! She did many things very well, but only did them one at a time. We were very happy and everywhere I went, I wanted to take her with me, to show her off. As time went by, I started to notice other guys, with their gals, and noticed that they had nicer figures, and did even more than my Treo gal did. Sometimes, for cheaper! So my eyes have started wondering. But I am very picky! I mean this is never just a one night stand type of thing after all. I am looking for something better, yes! But also long term. One that has caught my eye is the HTC TyTn II . WM6 interface, WiFi, GPS, multi-touch screen and much more. Yea, she ain't cheap, but she offers so much more than my Treo.
Do I want to make this kind of investment in this device? $800 just to bring her home! At least $300 more for software ($150 for GPS mapping software) And the new girl will have to accesorize just like the last one needed to. Then there is the emotional investment . . . . . Living with a new OS and just learning how to push her buttons for this give and take relationship . . . At this point, I am pondering. But from afar, this one is appealing to me. One strike against her is no thumb board on the front of the device. But there are several pluses that maybe might make that one not that big of a deal? I don't know. And if I am going to break this Treo relationship, whos to say it has to be with this one. Other gals might come along. Do I stand a chance with the gPhone? The iPhone is much too hyped for what she is. Should I be patient until Ms. Treo gets that linux surgery that she is so overdue for? Maybe I will do it . . Maybe I won't . . . But my eyes are wondering . . . |
