The YouTube debates really sounded like a great idea. Let the People, the common people ask the questions of the Candidates. But let CNN's excellent journalists pick the questions that should be asked. Now I see nothing wrong with letting Republican supporters ask questions of Democratic candidates and vise-versa. But to do things like having a soldier who agrees with democrats ask questions. But then to have people associated with Various Democratic campaigns ask tough questions, yet not to reveal that, makes CNN look like they are weighting all the questions in favor of democratic candidates. This is very bad. At last count, I heard that 9 of the 34 questions have been tied to Democratic activists. One of questions in the democratic debate was tied to Hillary Clinton and is on staff with her!!!! OUCH! So I am guessing that CNN didn't do a very good job of letting the staff pick the questions. So how do you defend that CNN? I am not saying you did anything on purpose, but since it was you, who stressed that common people couldn't screen the videos for people to ask, it was you to make sure that imposters weren't able to get through, and the common man couldn't recognize that, but your excellent, seasoned journalists could . . . . . This really takes away from all the debates now. Please release a true apology to the people of the United States, explaining that you have failed to provide a format that is fair to all parties. . .

About Me |
|
I am a middle aged guy who finds much pleasure in today's technology. Once upon a time I kept a blog about mobile tech, a web site that featured my bike rides, and then a personal site where I shared photos and videos, basically of Family. After a time, I decided it made much more sense to combine all those sites into one. But what to call it? Well, not very creatively, this site became "just duke". Just stuff I am interested in and try to follow. By day I work for a large chemical company, and by night I play bass in a Christian Rock band. But every day I check out the web sites following the trends around mobile devices. When I have time, I enjoy designing Templates for Joomla and Wordpress. You can download those here on this site! Just click on "Just Templates on the left. |
