Rumors were rampant for the last few weeks.  Now the company has officially released its plans to shut down more than 155 stores, many before black Friday!  According to the news release, in short, the company is blaming all it's woes on the economy.  Vendors unable to secure insurance, and the company's inability to pay for it's merchandise is the reason for the drastic action it now is forced to take. I am wondering how many stores that leaves.  I know my local store has survived for now.  And about 2 miles from it, a BestBuy is being built!  I hate to see such a giant go under, even if there are bigger, and better giants such as BestBuy. The way that this company has treated it's employees to this point has not been very favorable according to many in forums across the net.  If you are an employee at one of these stores, all I can say is I am sorry!  It's never a good time to lose your job, but going into the holiday season has to be the worst!
