So it's Friday evening, and the family part doesn't start until Sunday! But my Son just got home from Iraq for his mid-term leave so I am saying that the vacation has officially started! Where are we headed? South Carolina! Myrtle Beach! To a camping resort that we all went to when my kids were younger! And its also a place that I went to as a child with my parents! Its a full on resort, and you really don't have a good reason to leave once you are inside the park! Indoor and Outdoor pool, jaccuzi, Lazy River, Arcade, various shows, Grocery Store, Laundramat, etc. To get around, I have rented a golfcart, and I am now anxiously awaiting Sunday morning so that we can all head out! In addition to my Son, my daughter just graduated College and has not landed a job just yet! Then, there is the boy we took in when he was 15. It so happens that he and his fiance are available to make this journey. Don't forget the family dog! The motorhome is packed with clothes and we are making a grocery run tonight! Yea, Gas is $.4.00+ per gallon and that hurts! But opportunities like this don't come along very often, so I am jumping on the chance! True to form, I will be uploading photos and movies each day of our adventures! Don't expect exciting images of life defying adventure. But do expect very laid back family time of just hanging out and enjoying a little quiet time!
