2nd Trip Out in the MotorHome PDF Print E-mail
Written by Duke Carico

Digg!

So I headed out in the MotorHome today!  There was a Malibu on my tail the whole way.  I mean the guy was never more than 5 feet from my rear bumper the whole trip!  Oh, wait a minute!  That's my Malibu!  So this is the 2nd trip out with the MotorHome, but its the first trip out with a Tow vehicle. Thank God that I figured out how to transfer Power, disable the Drive Shaft and not lose the car enroute to our Destination.  Our Destination?  Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.  We are nestled into a campground about 1/2 mile from the main drag.  There is a nice stream flowing about 20 feet from my bedroom window.  The cable TV is not very clear, but as you can plainly see, the Internet connection is pretty strong!  Currently, the rest of the fam is gone to Walmart for some minor things for the weekend.  I am headed to the bed to take a nap and get ready to fire up the grill for Burgers tonight.  Depending on the day, maybe some pictures later on, but here are the ones for the moment.

  • dcarico : The shomi digital player continues to drive people to this site. People really seem to struggle with this very affordable player but almost worthless manual. They should pay me for being their support desk :)
  • captbunzo : The centro is cheap and easy to use. It is the perfect palm phone nowaday...

About Me

Me

I am a middle aged guy who finds much pleasure in today's technology.  Once upon a time I kept a blog about mobile tech, a web site that featured my bike rides, and then a personal site where I shared photos and videos, basically of Family.  After a time, I decided it made much more sense to combine all those sites into one.  But what to call it?  Well, not very creatively, this site became "just duke".  Just stuff I am interested in and try to follow.

By day I work for a large chemical company, and by night I play bass in a Christian Rock band. But every day I check out the web sites following the trends around mobile devices.  When I have time, I enjoy designing Templates for Joomla and Wordpress. You can download those here on this site!
