What a week! My Laptop crashes and burns and my television goes out! The truth: I can live without a TV! But I can't seem to function on a "Normal" level without my laptop. At this moment, I am sitting in front of the desktop, and what an awkward feeling! The wife gave me the go ahead to pick up a new one, but for now, I would prefer the one I had. Its in the shop and I am hoping the guy can fix me up! My diagnosis: Its overheating! So I went and grabbed a can of compressed air, and blew air into every crevice I could find on it. I didn't notice excessive dust coming out anywhere. So I decided to take the thing apart and blow it off. That didn't help either . . . So I took it to a local guy here hoping he could help me. I have been four days without it now, and I feel like a crack addict needing a fix! I can't tell you how many times I have reached for it, only to realize, it isn't here! Even updatting this site is hard, because its not comfortable, or even natural! For example, I am using IE at the moment! On my laptop, I use Firefox all the time! I have all of my templates and the software to manipulate the templates on my laptop. This desktop is more of a server for my household than a computer. Its where I store most of my files. Its NEVER the computer I work from . . . Until now, that is! OK, enough of this. I am headed online to browse notebook deals . . . Maybe I can pass the time surfing and looking for a new laptop. Kind of dream about which one I might buy if I were buying. Maybe that will briefly satisfy this urge until the guy calls me and says those magic words . . . . "Sir, your notebook is ready"
